A leader within the Russian light metal structures market, the company &lquo;,Ventall”, with their manufacturing facility located in the Kaluga region, has invested in a new V550 punching and shearing line from the Dutch company, Voortman Automatisering BV.
So at the end of 2005 a delegation of the plant together with the General Director visited the Voortman Company in the Netherlands. The delegation was shown various re-ference machines of Voortman working in several companies, producing building metal constructions.
As a result of the visit a contract for the supply of a V550 Punching & Shearing System was signed. The new line was installed in a new production hall at the Ventall plant, the official opening of which took place on the 28th of October 2006.
Mr. Shukhardin said, “We didn't have plans to buy equipment and visited the Voortman Company just for curiosity, but what we saw there immediately changed our plans. The company produces the most Modern & State of the Art equipment for the producers of steel building constructions. The high level of automation and reliability of equipment complete with the fact that the company is de-signing its own software and producing all parts and components in house, all add up to high quality and reliability.
But the main reason, why we decided to buy Voortman equipment, was the fact that the Voortman Company produces not only the equipment, but also steel constructions in its sister companies using the Voortman equipment, in very efficient and automated production facilities. The leadership of the Voortman Company has told us all secrets and 'know-how" not only regarding production of the structures, design of structures but also in the production planning and organisation.”
