Introduction VB1050S Horizontal bandsaw
The VB1050S was developed for the straight cutting of structural profiles. This sawing machine is the only straight band saw in the Voortman range of saws. The blade speed is frequency controlled and the rate is automatically adjusted to the material. The saw is also equipped with a hydraulic blade tension device. The system compensates for the stretching of the saw blades.
The VB1050S can be combined with a length measuring system with feeder truck, measuring rolls or a length measuring system with a stop truck. With the feeder truck system it can reach up to the saw blade, therefore all parts from one stock length can be sawn automatically. The advantage of a stop truck is the possibility to cut a bundle of material. The VB1050S is often combined with the V630 drilling system. This combination is the most compact drilling-/sawing system available today.
